Our code of conduct outlines the expected behaviours, standards, and practices for players, coaches, parents, spectators and volunteers within our football club. This aligns our values, the culture we are building and the positive impact we want to have on our community, to ensure we create the best possible environment for children to enjoy football.
Commitment & Attendance
- Our ethos is "Football for everyone" — but only for those who genuinely want to be here. Show up with purpose, ready to play and contribute.
- We believe football has a superpower. It provides a way for children to learn and develop so many useful life skills. But, as with many things in life, you only get out what you put in. It’s very important everyone comes to training and matches and gives it their all and follows our code of conduct.
Respect for Teammates, Opponents & Community
- Treat everyone with respect and kindness regardless of skill level, background or experience
- Encourage and support teammates; criticism must only be constructive.
- Respect opponents, match officials, and coaches at all times—fair play matters more than the result.
- As a village club, we represent our community. Be respectful and supportive of local schools, residents, and organisations.
Attitude, Effort & Discipline
- Give your best effort in training and matches. If you're here, be present and engaged.
- Win, lose, or draw, play with integrity, passion, and good sportsmanship.
- Disruptive or negative attitudes have no place at the club— be kind to each other, positivity makes the team stronger.
- Arrive ready to learn and have fun
- We strive to develop mental resilience and discipline in young players, helping them grow both on and off the pitch.
Inclusivity, Team Spirit & Community Support
- Football is for all. We welcome players of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities.
- No discrimination, bullying, or exclusion of any kind will be tolerated.
- Everyone should feel valued and included—team spirit is built together.
- We are more than just a team; we are part of the village. We actively support local schools, events, and initiatives that benefit the community.
Conduct On & Off the Pitch
- Represent the team with pride, both on and off the pitch.
- Respect facilities, equipment, and the communities we play in.
- Look after your kits, shin pads and boots.
- Keep language and behaviour appropriate—set an example for others.
- Engage positively with the village and contribute to making the club a true community hub.
Health & Safety
- Play safely and look out for each other. Reckless or dangerous play isn't welcome.
- Follow instructions from coaches and officials to ensure everyone's well-being.
- If you're injured, tell your coach or parent — health comes before competition.
Enjoyment, Growth & Community Impact
- We play football because we love the game—enjoy it!
- Strive to improve, but don't forget to have fun.
- Celebrate each other's progress, whether big or small.
- We aim to instil discipline, responsibility, and a strong work ethic in young players, preparing them for success in both sport and life.
